Nagpur to Goa Travel Time to Reduce by 10 Hours with New Expressway

The Nagpur-Goa Shaktipeeth Expressway, an 802 km-long road project, will connect Maharashtra’s Pavanar in Wardha district to Patradevi at the Maharashtra-Goa border. The expressway will pass through major districts, including Solapur, Latur, Yavatmal, Kolhapur, Nanded, and Sindhudurg.
The project aims to improve access to important temples, Shaktipeeths, and pilgrimage sites, making travel easier for devotees. Besides religious tourism, the expressway will also provide faster and smoother connectivity between Nagpur and Goa, benefiting regular travellers and boosting economic growth.
Developed by the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), the expressway is expected to cost Rs. 75,000 crore. While the completion deadline is yet to be decided, once finished, it will help ease congestion and improve transportation in the region.
