Nagpur's Minimum Temperature Drops to 10.4°C Amid Ongoing Winter Chill

Nagpur, India: Nagpur has been under dry weather conditions for the past two days, leading to a noticeable dip in the minimum temperature. On Sunday, 19 January, the city recorded a low of 10.4°C. Meteorologists have forecasted that the dry spell will persist for the next five to six days, which is expected to cause further temperature drops.

The chill in Nagpur is being influenced by weather patterns in northern India, where multiple western disturbances have brought snowfall to Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Dense fog has also blanketed Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi, while cold winds from the north are responsible for the temperature decline across Maharashtra.

As the skies clear, temperatures have fallen sharply, prompting many residents to wear sweaters and warm clothing from the evening onwards. Meteorologists predict that the cooler mornings and evenings will continue, signalling the return of a typical winter chill in the city.
