“Nahi Bol Sakti Thi” Preacher Papa Bajinder Singh Faces Charges of Sexual Harassment

Jalandhar, Punjab: Bajinder Singh, the head of the Church of Glory and Wisdom, is under investigation following accusations of sexual harassment, stalking, and criminal intimidation. A 22-year-old woman has filed a police report alleging inappropriate behavior that began when she was a teenager.
The woman claims that Singh, 44, began making unwanted advances after she joined his worship team in 2020. She alleges that he sent inappropriate messages, forcibly hugged her, and touched her inappropriately during private meetings in his office. She also states that Singh pressured her to marry him and threatened her family when she refused.
Singh, who previously spent time in jail in the early 2000s in connection with a murder case and later converted to Christianity, denies the allegations, claiming they are a conspiracy by a rival pastor. Singh has gained a large social media following, even attracting endorsements from celebrities like Chunky Pandey and Aditya Pancholi.
The Diocese of Jalandhar had already distanced itself from Singh in 2018 due to earlier controversies. The National Commission for Women (NCW) has stepped in, calling for Singh's arrest. As of now, Singh has not turned himself in, and the investigation is ongoing.
