New Train Service Enhances Connectivity Between Nagpur and Gaya
Nagpur, India: Indian Railways has launched a new train service connecting Nagpur to Gaya through Lokmanya Tilak Terminal, aiming to improve travel links and meet the rising demand for transport between these areas.
The new train service, numbered 22357/22358, will run weekly, leaving Gaya every Wednesday at 7 PM and arriving at Lokmanya Tilak Terminal at 5:50 AM the following Thursday. For the return trip, train 22357 will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminal on Fridays at 1:15 PM, arriving in Gaya at 10:50 PM on Saturday. Previously, there were only two trains operating between Nagpur and Gaya each week.
The launch of this new service is a response to the increasing passenger demand on this route. Brajbhushan Shukla, a member of the Joint Railway Users Consultative Committee (JRUCC), thanked Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and other leaders for their contributions to improving railway connectivity from Nagpur to different regions across the country.
