Nitin Gadkari Praises Devendra Fadnavis for Transforming Nagpur
Nagpur, India: Union Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari praised Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for his significant contributions to the development of the state and Nagpur. Speaking at the release of a work report booklet highlighting the development efforts in the South-West Nagpur Assembly Constituency, which Fadnavis represents, Gadkari described him as an "accomplished and courageous public representative."
Gadkari emphasized Fadnavis' role in shaping the South-West Nagpur constituency, calling him a leader who will be remembered for bringing development to the region. He also acknowledged the trusting relationship Fadnavis has built with the people of Nagpur and Maharashtra through his roles as MLA, Chief Minister, Leader of the Opposition, and now Deputy Chief Minister.
The event saw the presence of prominent figures, including MLCs Pravin Datke and Dr. Parinay Fuke, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Chaudhary, and other dignitaries.
Gadkari highlighted Fadnavis' efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic and his commitment to the overall development of Nagpur and tribal districts like Gadchiroli. The booklet reviewed Fadnavis' initiatives for employment generation, farmer welfare, and ensuring opportunities for all sections of society.
