NMC to Build Twin-Tower Commercial Complex in Khamla, Nagpur

Nagpur, India: The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) plans to build a twin-tower commercial complex in Khamla on Orange City Street. The project will consist of two towers with 10 floors and two basements, dedicated entirely to commercial use, including shops, offices, multiplex, schools, and hospitals.

The project costs ₹235 crore, with private developers invited to bid on the project. The developer will have 36 months to finish construction and 48 months to complete the entire project. If they miss the deadline, they will face penalties.

The design of the complex includes a parking space for 715 cars and 1,200 bikes, along with office spaces on most floors. The top floors will have large office spaces, and retail shops on the ground floor.

The developer will also have the right to sell commercial units, advertise within the complex, and earn revenue from parking until the project is handed over to society. The total cost of the project is expected to be ₹339.58 crore, and the building will stand 43.97 metres tall, as approved by the Airport Authority of India.

This new development is expected to boost Nagpur’s commercial growth.
