Alcohol is strictly prohibited for the health of the skin, Dr. Aanchal Panth stated. It's widely accepted that red wine's antioxidant qualities make it beneficial for the skin. However, if we want to achieve our recommended daily intake of antioxidants, it's best to stick to other healthier options.

How sugar affects the skin-

Sugar consumption causes acne in the near term and Advanced Glycation End Products in the long run. The skin's collagen is broken down by sugar and protein, which slows down the healing process.
