On International Women's Day, 250 women receive free health check up
In honor of International Women's Day, 250 women received free health examinations and five days of complimentary Ayurvedic treatment from "The Sunyatee Center for Women Development," which is run by Trailokya Buddhist Mahasabha Sahak Gana and Sunyati International Foundation.
The center's director, Dhammacharini Sugatdharini, and a foundation official, Karan Jagdambe, declared during the inauguration that the facility will offer health-related programs for women.
International Women's Day (2024) has "Invest in Women: Accelerating Progress" as its subject this year. The chosen themes highlight how important it is to fund women's leadership development, healthcare, economic empowerment, and education in order to hasten the transition to gender equality.
Women were given free medical care by Dr. Sadhana Gedam of Nagpur, Dr. Sneha Sawant of Pune, and Dr. Smita Sonawane of the DXN Clinic. As assistants were Ayurvedic interns Shringali Meshram, Tejas Mahure, Dhanashree Kawade, Avanti Kotangale, and Siddika Fatema. "Sanjeevani Sakhi Sangh," the co-organizer, put a lot of effort into getting word out to lots of ladies about the camp.
Along with women volunteers and organizers of the Foundation Sapna Avankar and Sunanda Popatkar, the camp's chief organizers were Narendra Borkar and manager Nilesh Patil.
A lot of hard work went into the achievement of Jyoti Patil, Shilpa Madam, Ankita Khonde, Shraddha Pardhi, Manisha Buddh, Anjali Ingle, and "Sanjivani Sakhi Sangh Kalpana Meshram, Vandana Deshbhartar" as well as Vibha Gajbhiye.
