One Dead After Speeding Car Collides with Bullet in Dhantoli, Nagpur
Nagpur, India: A tragic accident in the Dhantoli area of Nagpur claimed the life of a 22-year-old man and left another seriously injured. The incident occurred around 2:30 AM on 3rd February 2025 near Ajni Chowk when a speeding Maruti Ertiga (MH 40 KR 9654) allegedly crashed into a Bullet motorcycle.
According to the police, Vishal Narendra Yadav, 23, a resident of Chandrapur, was riding his Bullet (MH 33 AE 0128) with his friend Chetan Rajeshwar Gawde when the car, reportedly driven recklessly, hit their vehicle. The collision caused both riders to fall onto the road. They were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Gawde succumbed to his injuries, while Yadav is undergoing treatment.
The accused driver, identified as Ajnaan Izrar Hussain, 25, a resident of Ajni Railway Quarters, has been taken into custody.
Based on Yadav’s complaint, Dhantoli Police have registered a case under Sections 281, 125(b), and 106(1) of the BNS, along with Section 185 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
