One Dead, Another Injured in Attack Near Gandhibagh Garden in Nagpur
A violent attack late Sunday night near Gandhibagh Garden left Ravi Rathod, 35, dead and his brother critically injured. Three brother carrying knife attacked two brothers. Police believe the attack was linked to a family dispute.
Ravi, an auto-rickshaw driver from Pardi, had intervened in an earlier quarrel between two families, which police suspect led to the attack. Around 10:55 p.m., the three assailants ambushed the brothers near the busy garden.
Witnesses said the attackers arrived on separate bikes and launched a sudden assault. The brothers were caught off guard and unable to defend themselves.
Nearby residents quickly contacted the Tehsil Police Station, just 100 meters away from the scene. The police rushed the victims to Mayo Hospital, but Ravi was declared dead on arrival. His brother is still in critical condition.
The Tehsil Police are searching for the suspects, who are identified as Abhishek Rathod and Sonu Rathod. Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage in hopes of identifying the attackers.
The police are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward as the investigation continues.
