Panchayat returns with another season mixed with humour and realism
The third season of the popular web series "Panchayat" is now available on Amazon Prime, premiering on May 28. Written by Chandan Kumar and directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, "Panchayat" follows Abhishek Tripathi, a young man from Delhi working as a secretary in a small village in Uttar Pradesh. The show features Neena Gupta, Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, Biswapati Sarkar, Chandan Roy, and Faisal Malik.
Season 3 brings back the familiar village of Phulera and its endearing residents with a fresh storytelling approach. While the previous seasons focused on humor and heartwarming moments, this season adds more drama and unpredictability. Abhishek, now in Delhi preparing for the CAT exam, struggles with his feelings for Phulera. Jitendra Kumar excellently portrays Abhishek’s growth and challenges.
Back in Phulera, a new secretary steps in, introducing new characters and challenges. Neena Gupta and Raghubir Yadav continue to deliver standout performances, adding depth and humor. The season also explores the dreams and goals of other villagers, enriching the story.
"Panchayat" maintains its mix of humor and real-life issues, though it leans more towards drama this season. The picturesque village setting and authentic production design create an immersive experience. Despite the increased drama, the show retains its charm and relatability.
Overall, "Panchayat" Season 3 is a worthy continuation, offering new dimensions to its beloved characters and setting. Fans will appreciate the evolving story and character development, even if they miss the straightforward humor of earlier seasons. "Panchayat" remains a must-watch for its heartfelt depiction of village life.
