Pardi Flyover Trouble: Concrete Falls on Car a Day After Inauguration

Nagpur, India: A newly opened flyover in East Nagpur has raised safety concerns after a concrete slab fell onto a moving car. Thankfully, no one was injured, but the car was badly damaged.
The Pardi flyover was built to reduce traffic on Bhandara Road. It was partly opened in 2023 and fully completed this year. On Thursday, it was officially inaugurated with a big event attended by former MLA Krishna Khopde, BJP workers, and local residents.
Shockingly, within 24 hour's of the opening, a piece of concrete fell onto a car at HB Town Square. People are now questioning the quality of construction and demanding answers.
Officials have not yet responded, but the incident has caused public concern over the flyover’s safety.
