Prime Minister Narendra Modi is gearing up for an overnight stay in Nagpur as part of his election campaign. This visit will be Modi's first time spending the night in Nagpur since becoming Prime Minister, as reported by various media outlets.
On April 19, Modi is scheduled to address a rally in Wardha, supporting BJP candidate Ramdas Tadas. Despite Wardha being adjacent to Nagpur, it falls under the second phase of polling, along with Amravati, which is set for April 26.
This visit comes shortly after Modi's recent tour of Vidarbha, where he held rallies in Chandrapur and Ramtek. In Chandrapur, he backed Sudhir Mungantiwar, a State Cabinet Minister, and later showed support for Raju Parwe from Shiv Sena (Shinde group) in the Ramtek Lok Sabha Constituency.
Modi's busy schedule continues as he is expected to address rallies in Parbhani, Nanded, and Hingoli on April 20. These constituencies are also part of the second phase of polling, slated for April 26.
