PM Modi to Visit Wardha for Special Event Celebrating PM Vishwakarma Yojana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Nagpur on Friday morning. After landing at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, he will fly to Wardha by helicopter to attend an event celebrating one year of the PM Vishwakarma Yojana. The event will take place at Swawalambi Maidan at 11 AM.

Several important leaders will also be present, including the Governor, Chief Minister, and other ministers. At the event, PM Modi will give certificates and loans to 18 artisans representing different trades under the PM Vishwakarma Yojana and release a special stamp to honour their hard work and contributions.

A pavilion will showcase success stories from the Vishwakarma Yojana, including an exhibition of artworks made by 18 artisans from around India. This exhibition will be open for two days and visitors can buy the art on display. PM Modi will also meet the artisans and give a public speech. About 50,000 people are expected to attend, including members of the Vishwakarma community, ITI trainees, and self-help group women.

PM Modi will also lay the foundation for the ‘PM Mega Integrated Textile Regions and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park,’ a new textile hub being built in Maharashtra. This park is part of a plan to make India a global leader in textile production and create more jobs.

In addition, PM Modi will launch the ‘Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Centre’ to provide free training for young people aged 15 to 45. This program will help 1.5 lakh people in Maharashtra each year. He will also introduce the ‘Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Women Startup Scheme,’ which will offer financial support of up to Rs 25 lakh to women-led startups, especially for women from economically weaker sections.
