Nagpur. India: Nagpur’s historic Poddareshwar Ram Temple marked its 103rd anniversary with a grand celebration, lighting up 1.5 lakh earthen lamps in a spectacular ‘Deep Darshan’ event. The temple premises glowed with the warm light of diyas, creating a breathtaking sight for devotees.

As part of the festivities, lamps were arranged in sacred symbols of Sanatan Dharma, including the Trishul, Gada, Om, Swastika, and Shankha. For a brief period, all electric lights were turned off, allowing devotees to witness the divine glow of the oil lamps in complete serenity.

The event also featured a mesmerising display of fireworks, the rhythmic beats of traditional drums by the Shivmudra Dhol Tasha Mandal, and the collective blowing of conch shells by the Shri Panchajanya Shri Ram Sevak Shankha Dal. The entire temple complex was filled with spiritual energy and devotion.

Poddareshwar Ram Temple, established on March 4, 1923, has been an important religious centre in Nagpur. Over the years, it has continued to celebrate its anniversaries with grandeur.
