Police Bust Sex Racket at Gittikhadan Spa, Rescue Woman
Nagpur, India- The Social Security Branch (SSB) of the City Police busted a sex racket of Wella Unisex Spalon & Academy on Borgaon Road in the Gittikhadan area, rescuing a young woman allegedly forced into prostitution by pimps. The police arrested a couple, Anshul Manoj Bawangade (30) and his wife Seema Anshul Bawangade (34), who were running the racket under the guise of a spa and massage parlour.
The SSB officers received a tip-off about the couple's illegal activities at the Wella Unisex Spalon & Academy, located above the Borgaon Post Office. Acting on this information, they sent a decoy customer to the spa. The couple reportedly accepted Rs 1500 from him and provided him with a young woman in a separate room. After confirming the operation, the decoy signalled the SSB team, who then raided the spa and rescued the woman.
The police took the couple into custody and confiscated three mobile phones, a Honda Activa scooter, Rs 1500 in cash, and other items, with a total value of over Rs 1.92 lakh.
