Police Commissioner Dr Singal Awards New Ranks to 41 Police Officers
A promotion ceremony took place at the Police Bhavan's sixth-floor conference hall on Thursday at 4:00 PM, where 41 police personnel received new ranks in a formal event. The ceremony, presided over by Nagpur Police Commissioner Dr. Ravindra Kumar Singhal, was a moment of pride and recognition for the dedicated officers.
Among those promoted, 14 male and 3 female officers ascended to the rank of Assistant Police Sub-Inspector (API). Additionally, 14 male Police Constables, 1 driver Police Constable, and 9 female Police Constables were promoted to the rank of Police Head Constable. The newly elevated officers were awarded their badges by Commissioner Singhal and other senior officials, signifying a pivotal step in their law enforcement careers.
The ceremony was attended by prominent police officials, including Joint Commissioner of Police Mrs. Ashwati Dorje, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Detection) Nimit Goyal, DCP Zone 1 Anurag Jain, DCP Zone 5 Niketan Kadam, DCP Zone 3 Gorakh Bhamare, and Deputy Commissioner of Police Headquarters Ashwini Patil.
In his address, Commissioner Singhal commended the efforts to streamline the promotion process. He also recognized the contributions of Senior Clerks Gautam Chavan and Thakur by presenting them with certificates of appreciation and saplings, acknowledging their role in ensuring the smooth execution of the procedures.
