Police Crackdown on Illegal Hookah Parlour "The Bunk Story" in Laxmi Nagar
On Monday, local law enforcement authorities raided a café, "The Bunk Story," situated on the road between Bajaj Nagar and Laxmi Nagar, after receiving information about an illegal hookah parlour operating on its premises. As a result, the owner of the place, Jaspal Amarjeet Singh Ganje (33), and Pankaj Mahendra Golchha (35), the individual responsible for running the hookah parlour, have been apprehended and booked by the police.
Acting on the tip-off, officers from the local police station swiftly executed the raid on the first floor of the café. Upon thorough investigation, they discovered four individuals engaging in hookah smoking on the establishment's second floor. The police swiftly apprehended the suspects and confiscated the hookah equipment as evidence.
Jaspal Amarjeet Singh Ganje, identified as the proprietor of the café, now faces charges related to facilitating an illegal hookah parlour on his premises. Pankaj Mahendra Golchha, who was operating the hookah parlour, also faces charges for his involvement in the unlawful activity.
The raid on "The Bunk Story" serves as a stern warning to other businesses engaging in similar illegal activities.
