Police Seized 140 gm Mephedrone, Arrested Two in Wathoda
Nagpur,India- The Anti-Narcotics Cell of the City Police's Crime Branch has arrested two drug dealers in the Wathoda area. They seized 140 grams of mephedrone (MD) powder, worth Rs 14 lakh, along with two mopeds and cell phones worth Rs 1 lakh.
The arrested men are Sagar Hivdas Choudhary (27) from Vinoba Bhave Nagar, Pardi, and Hrithik Kalambe (23) from Ambedkar Chowk, Garoba Maidan, Lakadganj. Acting on a tip-off, the police team caught Sagar and Hrithik on Lakadganj-Wathoda Road. During their search, they found 140 grams of MD powder.
The police took them into custody and filed a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act at Wathoda Police Station. The arrests were made by PI Gajanan Gulhane, API Manoj Ghurde, and their team, under the supervision of DCP Nimit Goyal.
