Police Seize 800 Bottles of country liquor in Wardha District
In Wardha, two men were apprehended by the police near Utkarsh Complex in Bajaj Nagar. They were found in possession of 800 bottles of country liquor and a Passion Pro motorcycle (MH-31/EZ-3073) valued at Rs 1.07 lakh on Thursday.
The accused have been identified as Dhanraj Keshav Verma (21) and Sonu RammatVerma (25). They hail from Darigaon, taluka Lahora, district Wardha, but were currently staying at Mahakali Nagar near Manish Nagar.
During interrogation, the men confessed that the liquor belonged to the owner of Rajat Wine Shop. Consequently, the police have charged them under the Maharashtra Prohibition Act.
