Police Seize Rs 18.62 Lakh Worth of Ganja, Arrest 5 Drug-Peddlers
In another operation, Nagpur Police seized 94 kg of marijuana worth Rs 18.62 lakh during a raid at a house in Arya Nagar, Jaripatka. Five individuals were arrested for drug peddling, identified as Umar Khan Abdul Rasheed Khan (30), Daraksha Anjum alias Ranu Khan Umar Khan (29), Shaikh Rizwan Shaikh Yunus (24), Abdul Arif Abdul Khalik (32), and Mohammad Junaid Ibrahim Rajwani (31). The police are still searching for a sixth suspect, Kushif Ahmad from Jafar Nagar.
Senior officers, including Additional CP Sanjay Patil, DCP Rahul Maknikar, and ACP Dr Abhijeet Patil, were present at the press conference where Commissioner Dr Singal provided details on both operations.
