Poonekar Murder Case
In the ongoing inquiry into the murder case of Raj Nagar photographer Vinay Poonekar, recent revelations have brought forth startling information. CCTV footage has exposed Hemant Shukla, the alleged shooter, navigating Sitabuldi market with a bag carrying pistols. The police, sharing this detail, suggest that Shukla moved around the city armed with a firearm in the bag before the actual murder, raising suspicions about potential involvement of a third party in the case.
Vinay Poonekar was fatally shot at his residence on February 23, and the investigation uncovered the use of two pistols in the crime. Statements from Sakshi Grover, one of the accused, indicated that Shukla reported the incident. However, contrary to these claims, CCTV footage contradicts the timeline, portraying Shukla present in the city two days prior to the murder, with a bag containing a firearm.
Sakshi Grover, who assisted Shukla on the day of the incident, admitted to his stay in her flat. The police investigation revealed Shukla's connections to gangs in Haryana, prompting further exploration into his potential ties with the notorious Bishnoi gang.
