Property Tax, Water Tax and More Now on WhatsApp with NMC Chatbot

Nagpur, India: The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has launched a new WhatsApp chatbot called My Nagpur NMC to help people use important services online. The chatbot was launched on Tuesday by NMC Commissioner and Administrator Dr. Abhijit Chaudhari at the NMC headquarters.

With this new service, citizens can now pay their property tax and water tax, check bills, see how much they owe, and even download no-dues certificates — all through WhatsApp. People just need to enter their UPIN or customer number, and the chatbot will give them links to pay online or download documents in PDF format.

The service is meant to save time and make it easier for people to get things done without visiting NMC offices. It supports the government's Digital India mission.

Also present at the launch were Additional Commissioners Mrs. Vasumana Pant and Mrs. Vaishnavi B., Deputy Commissioner Mr. Milind Meshram, and IT Head Mr. Swapnil Lokhande.
