Pulsar and Mahindra Bolero Collide in Nagpur; Fatalities Reported
Nagpur, India: A tragic accident occurred in the Hudkeshwar police station area late Wednesday night, resulting in the death of one individual and serious injuries to another.
At approximately 11:30 PM, Gaurav Suresh Kadwe (27) and his friend Prafull Shashikant Bahadure (29) were involved in a collision while riding a Pulsar 220 motorcycle (MH-49/6116). The accident took place on Manewada Road, near Sakaar Photo Studio.
According to reports, Prafull was driving the motorcycle when it collided with a stationary Mahindra Bolero (MH-27/B-7095). The impact caused both men to fall from the motorcycle, resulting in severe injuries. Gaurav was taken to a medical hospital for treatment of minor injuries, while Prafull was pronounced dead by doctors at 3:00 AM on September 13, 2024.
The Hudkeshwar Police have registered an FIR against the driver of the Mahindra Bolero under Sections 106(1), 125(B), 122, and 177 of the Motor Vehicles Act. Police Sub-Inspector Khorde is leading the investigation into the incident.
