Ranbir Kapoor to be replaced by Ayushman Khurrana in the upcoming Biopic of Sourav Ganguly
Sourav Ganguly, a former captain and one of the most well-known cricketers from India, has a biopic in the works. It was previously rumored that Ranbir Kapoor would take the cricketer's place as the lead character in his biopic. But it appears that Ranbir won't be in the movie any longer for unknown reasons.
Currently enjoying the success of his most recent film, Dream Girl 2, Ayushmann Khurrana will reportedly play Sourav Ganguly in the biopic. The actor made a suggestion that Ranbir might not be in the movie in a recent interview.
Ayushmann made a subtle allusion to taking Ranbir Kapoor's place in the Sourav Ganguly movie. The actor said in a recent interview that fans will have to wait for an official announcement but declined to confirm or refute the circulating rumors. According to reports, Ranbir will no longer be in the movie for unknown reasons.
"At this time, I'm not saying anything. Whenever and however that occurs, we must issue a formal declaration", the actor added in a Pinkvilla interview.
