Refreshing Morning Showers Bring Relief to Nagpur
Nagpur, India 28/06/2024: On Friday morning, Nagpur finally got a break from the scorching heat and humidity as heavy rain showers drenched the city. The much-awaited rain brought cool, pleasant weather to the region, which had been eagerly anticipating the monsoon's arrival.
While Kerala and parts of Western Maharashtra had already experienced the monsoon, Nagpur's turn came with Friday’s downpour, providing much-needed relief to the residents. However, the rain also caused some problems, including waterlogging and uprooted trees.
The Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s Fire and Emergency Department stayed busy throughout the day, responding to various calls for assistance.
