Release of Ajay Devgn and Tabu's "Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha" Postponed
"Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha," a film starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, has been postponed. It was all set to release on July 5, the film's release date has been delayed at the request of film exhibitors and distributors. The new release date is not out yet.
The announcement was made on Tuesday via an Instagram post by NH STUDIOZ, which read, "Dear friends, on request of the exhibitors and the distribution fraternity, we have collectively decided to shift the release date of our film, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. New Release date to be announced soon." The caption accompanying the post stated, "The wait is a little longer… #AuronMeinKahanDumTha."
The film's recently released trailer features Ajay Devgn as Krishna, who believes that nothing can separate him from his love, Vasudha, played by Tabu. The trailer has dramatic visuals of Ajay's potrayal in prison. It also introduces Shantanu Maheshwari, who was also seen in Gangu Bai alongside Alia Bhatt, in this he is Ajay's younger version while Saiee Manjarekar is Tabu's younger version.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, "Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha" is described as a unique musical love story that spans two decades, from 2002 to 2023. The film also stars Jimmy Sheirgill and Sayaji Shinde. The soundtrack has been composed by Oscar-winning composer MM Kreem, with lyrics by Manoj Muntashir. The film is produced by Narendra Hirawat, Kumar Mangat Pathak (Panorama Studios), Sangeeta Ahir, and Shital Bhatia under the Friday Filmworks banner.
The film was going to have a release clash with the action thriller "Kill," produced by Karan Johar and Guneet Monga and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. However, "Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha" will now have a solo release.
The postponement comes as Kalki 2898 AD, which released on June 27, continues to perform well at the box office.
