Riddhi Parmar to represent at Inter University Aquatic Championship
The South-West Zone Inter University Aquatic Championship, which will be hosted at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Tamilnadu, from January 1–April 1, 24 will include swimmers from the Aqua Sports Club.
Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University is represented by Riddhi Parmar, Snehal Joshi, Tushar Parmar, Sanjana Joshi, Akshata Zade, and Vedant Yerne, whereas Jain University, Bangalore, is represented by Rishika Bodele.
For the past five years, Rishika Bodele has consistently performed well. She has frequently represented Maharashtra at the national level and RTMNU at the All India Inter University Meet. She had competed for Jain University, Bangalore in the All India Aquatic Meet and represented the university in the University Khelo India Meet as a member of the swimming team. Rishika Bodele recently competed for India in Chengdu, China, during the World University Games.
Every swimmer is a regular member of the Aqua Sports Club and receives instruction from ASCA Level-5 Coach Shri Vishal Chandurkar (Florida, USA) and Senior Coach Dr. Pravin Lamkhade (NSNIS Patiala).
Parents of Aqua Sports Club swimmers and sports enthusiasts from all over the city congratulate all of the above swimmers on their selection and wish them luck on their upcoming endeavors.
The Aqua Sports Club President is Shri Mohan Nahatkar, the Secretary is Shri Mangesh Gadre, the Director is Shri Prashant Ugemuge, the Vice-President is Mrs. Preeti Lanjekar, and the Manager is Shri Ashwin Janbandhu.
