Risk to playoff prospects because of the IMD's rain prediction
Rain is the only worry for cricket fans and players as the most anticipated Indian Premier League match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings is about to begin in a few hours.
The Met Centre Bengaluru of the India Meteorological Department reports that on May 18, there is a 61% chance of rain in Bengaluru and a high temperature of 28.4 degrees Celsius.
Additionally, the meteorological department reported that Bengaluru experiences wind speeds of about 5.6%. The M Chinnaswamy stadium is currently surrounded by clouds, and the sky is become a little dark.
Only the SW (West, South, SE) and northern regions of the city had rain earlier on Saturday. However, Chinnaswamy Stadium is in the heart of Bengaluru, and rain has not yet reached this location.
