RPF Catches Three Thieves with Stolen Jewellery Worth ₹1.55 Crore

Nagpur, India: Three thieves were arrested in Nagpur after stealing jewellery worth ₹1.55 crore. The stolen goods included gold, silver, and diamond jewellery.

On February 11, the Railway Police in Nagpur were alerted by Hyderabad Police, who said that three suspects were traveling on train number 12723. The Hyderabad Police shared photos of the suspects, and the Nagpur Railway Protection Force (RPF) acted quickly.

RPF officers spotted the suspects on the train and worked with local police at Katol Railway Station to catch them. When the train arrived at Katol, the suspects were arrested.

The arrested men are from Bihar and West Bengal. Along with the jewellery, the police also found foreign currencies worth ₹19.63 lakh, including US dollars, Euros, and British pounds.

The suspects were handed over to Hyderabad Police for further action. The operation was led by Senior Security Commissioner Manoj Kumar.
