Rural Nagpur to Get Six New Police Stations for Better Law Enforcement

Nagpur, India: Six new police stations will soon be established in rural parts of Nagpur to help control the increasing crime rate. The Maharashtra government, under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, has approved the move to improve law enforcement in the region.
Guardian Minister of Nagpur, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, announced the decision during a review meeting held on Wednesday. He instructed officials to speed up the construction of the new police stations and said the step would greatly improve security in rural areas.
The police stations will be set up in the villages of Vadoda, Bajargaon, Mohpa, Pachgaon, Nand and Kanholibara. These locations were chosen due to a rise in criminal activities, which has made it difficult for existing police forces to respond quickly and efficiently.
Bawankule added that the new police stations would offer better services to citizens, ensure faster police response, and help build trust among villagers. The goal is to create a safer environment and reduce crime rates in rural parts of the district.
Chief Minister’s Secretary Dr. Shrikkar Pardeshi and Commissioner of Police Ravindra Singhal also attended the meeting. They assured full support for the project and promised that all necessary resources will be provided to complete it on time.
