Samarth, an ultracyclist, maintains his Race Across India w solo title
In the Race Across India, Nagpur-based international ultra cyclist Dr. Amit Samarth successfully defended his championship. It took Dr. Samarth eight days, two hours, and seventeen minutes to complete the Solo 18–50 category race.
Team Poland's Krzysztof Fechnar finished the race in 9 days, 7 hours, and 13 minutes, placing him in second place. Vishnu Todkar placed fourth, and CA Nikhil came in third.
The second iteration of the Indian Oil Event Across India, the country's longest cycling event, took place across 12 states from Srinagar to Kanyakumari.
Tigerman Sports Pvt Ltd organized the event. In 7–14 days, cyclists covered 3758 kilometers. The Team of Four competition was won by Team JNARDDC, which included Dr. Anupam Agnihotri, Vipin Naik, Govinda Bhaskar, and Nitin Warhadpande.
Jayant Mendhi, Sweety Malik (woman), Mukund Kamath, and Rupesh Meshram made up Team ANK Seals Tigers, which placed second after completing the race in six days, twelve hours, and forty-eight minutes.
