‘See Baby, What I Did’ – Criminal Posts on Instagram After Killing Girl’s Father in Jattarodi
Nagpur, India: In a chilling incident, a history-sheeter brutally murdered the father of a girl he was obsessed with and later updated his Instagram status with the message, ‘Bagh Na Baby, Mi Kay Kel’ (See baby, what I have done). The murder occurred in broad daylight on Wednesday, right in front of Jattarodi Police Chowki.
The victim, Naresh Walde (53), a resident of Jattarodi, was targeted by the accused, Nitesh alias Nana Meshram, along with his accomplice, Ishwar alias Jackie Somkuwar, both from Rambagh. According to police reports, Nitesh had been infatuated with the girl since 2016. However, after being jailed for murder in 2019, the girl moved on. Following his release in 2021, Nitesh repeatedly tried to resume the relationship, but she refused.
Despite her consistent rejection and her father’s opposition to the relationship, Nitesh continued to harass her. When his marriage proposal was rejected again, he decided to take revenge.
On Wednesday afternoon, Naresh received a phone call and left home on his motorcycle. Nitesh and Jackie intercepted him near Jattarodi Police Chowki and launched a brutal attack. They stabbed him multiple times in the stomach and head before fleeing the scene. Locals alerted the police, and Naresh was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead.
The Imamwada Police registered a case of murder and promptly arrested both accused. Further investigation is underway to establish the full sequence of events and determine if anyone else was involved.
