Sex Racket Busted at Hotel Lotus in Ramtek, One Woman Rescued
Nagpur, India: In a significant operation, the Ramtek police busted a sex racket at Hotel Lotus, located near Nagarjun Hill, early Thursday morning. Acting on a tip-off, officers conducted a raid around 3:15 a.m. and rescued a young woman who was forced into this flesh trade.
During the operation, police arrested the hotel manager, Pramod Devidas Sarode, 27, who hails from Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh. Following the raid, authorities registered a case against Sarode under Sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.
The investigation continues as police gather more information and identify any additional individuals involved in the operation. The rescued woman is now receiving support and assistance from local authorities. Investigation is underway.
