Shah Rukh Khan Discharged from Hospital After Heat Stroke
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been discharged from KD Hospital in Ahmedabad following a heat stroke and dehydration incident on Tuesday, as reported by India Today. The actor was in Ahmedabad to attend the IPL playoff match between his team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
Shah Rukh's wife, Gauri Khan, and close friends Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta rushed to his side upon hearing the news. Chawla reassured fans that Shah Rukh is recovering well and is expected to be present at the IPL final on Sunday to support KKR. "Shah Rukh is doing much better and will return to support KKR in the IPL final. He was not feeling well last night but is feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team," Chawla said.
The actor, who is 58, has faced several health challenges in recent years but has consistently demonstrated remarkable resilience. During the filming of "Ra. One" in 2011, Shah Rukh suffered a shoulder injury and a toe fracture, yet managed to bounce back each time.
Shah Rukh was in Ahmedabad for two days and was accompanied by his daughter Suhana Khan, younger son AbRam, and manager Pooja Dadlani. Also present at the stadium were KKR co-owners Juhi Chawla and Jay Mehta, along with Suhana's close friends Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Navya Nanda, and Agastya Nanda.
Despite this health scare, fans are optimistic about Shah Rukh Khan's quick recovery and his return to the stands to cheer for KKR in the IPL final.
