Shiv Sena (Shinde) Leader Arrested for Attacking Police Patil
Vidarbha, Yavatmal: A Shiv Sena (Shinde) taluka president allegedly assaulted a Police Patil with an iron rod in Zari Taluka on March 6 over a fee-related dispute.
The attack left the Police Patil with severe injuries. Authorities have registered a case against the accused, who has since been arrested.
According to reports, a dispute over a pending fee led to an argument between Police Patil Pandhari Arun Dukre and Shiv Sena (Shinde) taluka president Moreswar Sarode. In a fit of rage, Sarode allegedly attacked Dukre with an iron rod, causing serious head injuries. The injured Dukre was immediately taken to a government hospital in Wani for treatment.
Following the incident, police took Moreswar Sarode into custody and charged him under IPC sections 118, 296, and 351(2).
Assistant Police Inspector Dilip Vadgaonkar stated that the accused had been arrested and a case had been registered against him.
