Solar Industries to Deliver Advanced Defence Products in ₹2,039-Crore
Nagpur, India: Solar Industries India Ltd, a prominent industrial explosives manufacturer, has secured export orders worth ₹2,039 crore for advanced defence products. The company announced on Monday, December 2, that these orders, obtained alongside its subsidiary, will be fulfilled over the next four years.
In a regulatory filing, the company expressed pride in the milestone, stating, "We are pleased to share that our company, Solar Industries India Limited, and its subsidiary have received export orders worth ₹2,039 crore for the supply of defence products, to be delivered over four years."
Last month, Solar Industries announced an export order worth ₹399.4 crore for defence products, to be executed within three years. Details regarding the specifics of these orders or the company’s overall order book remain undisclosed.
On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), shares of Solar Industries closed at ₹10,574, reflecting a drop of ₹111.05 or 1.04%, despite the positive announcement.
This achievement underlines Solar Industries’ expanding role in the global defence market and its commitment to delivering advanced solutions to international clients.
