Sonu Sood’s Family Members Out of Danger After Car Collision in Nagpur
Actor Sonu Sood’s wife, Sonali Sood, along with her sister Sunita and nephew Siddharth, was injured in a car accident in Nagpur on Monday night. The accident took place around 10 pm near Sonegaon Police Station when their car collided with a truck from behind while they were travelling from the airport to Byramji Town.
Sonegaon Police received information about the accident through a Medico-Legal Case (MLC) report from the hospital and recorded the incident in the station diary. However, no case has been registered yet as no formal complaint has been made.
As per police reports, Sonali had arrived in Nagpur from Kolkata on Monday night. Sunita and Siddharth picked her up from the airport, and they were heading to Byramji Town in a car (MH-31/GA-1789) driven by Siddharth.
While driving over the flyover near Sonegaon Police Station, they followed another car, which was behind a slow-moving truck. When the car in front suddenly overtook the truck, Siddharth was unable to slow down in time, causing the car to crash into the truck. The impact severely damaged the front of the vehicle.
Fortunately, the airbags deployed immediately, preventing serious injuries. However, all three sustained minor injuries and were taken to a private hospital in Mankapur for treatment. Sonali and Sunita are still under medical care, while Siddharth, a resident of Byramji Town, is stable.
Sonegaon Police visited the accident site but found the vehicle empty. The car was later seized. Since no complaint has been filed, no case has been registered so far.
