Nagpur, India: A speeding school van carrying students overturned, injuring everyone, including the driver. The accident shocked parents, who quickly visited the scene. All the injured are being treated at a private hospital. The incident happened at Garud Chowk in New Kamptee on the morning of February 20.

According to reports, the school van driver, Kailash Jibhakate (from Khairi-Bhilgaon), was taking students to St. Joseph's School. This morning, as usual, Kailash was driving at high speed with six children on board. While turning from Madan Chowk to Garud Chowk, he lost control of the van, causing it to fall into a ditch. The van overturned twice due to the speed, injuring all six students.

Traffic was on the road when the accident occurred. People quickly stopped and began rescue efforts, pulling the children trapped in the van. Several students were injured, and the driver, Kailash Jibhakate, was also seriously injured. The citizens took the injured students to Cantt Hospital, while Kailash was admitted to a private hospital.

The New Kamptee police and traffic officers were informed about the accident an hour later. A report was filed at the New Kamptee police station. Accidents happen often in this area because traffic police are not always on duty. After the accident, people in the crowd said the traffic police weren't focused on controlling traffic but were instead stopping drivers at the intersection to fine them.
