State Government Initiates Air Ambulance Service on Balasaheb Thackrey Samruddhi Mahamarg
An initiative is about to take flight as the state government spreads its wings to launch an extraordinary air ambulance service along the well-known Balasaheb Thackeray Samruddhi Mahamarg. Engaging in discussions with multiple helicopter companies, the government seeks to ensure swift medical aid for patients in the event of accidents on the Samruddhi Highway. The source of these airborne harbours will guide in a new era, where the injured will be rushed away to hospitals, and providing lifesaving treatments. Anticipating this transformative initiative, the state government eagerly awaits the forthcoming collaboration with esteemed helicopter companies.
In a visionary move, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation previously embraced the idea of constructing a series of helipads along the enchanting Samruddhi Highway. A balance of 16 helipads will grace the landscape, serving as a light of hope during critical moments following accidents on this Mahamarg. assuring the path to safety, the first of these helipads will appear near the tunnel section connecting Khardi and Igatpuri, a testament to progress as this section undergoes its own transition of construction.
