Rajya Sabha nominee Sudha Murty is a philanthropist and chairperson of the Murty Trust. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised her work in a variety of domains. The prime minister said on X, "I am delighted that the President of India has nominated @SmtSudhaMurty Ji to the Rajya Sabha."
