Suicide Attempt by Police Constable at SP’s Residence in Nagpur Shocks City

Nagpur, India: In a distressing incident, a police constable deployed at the bungalow of Rural Superintendent of Police (SP) Harssh Poddar in Vrindavan City, Jamtha, allegedly attempted suicide by firing a round from his service revolver.
The incident occurred early on Saturday morning, January 18, under the jurisdiction of Hingna Police Station. The sound of the gunshot caused panic in the residential area.
The injured constable was quickly rushed to AIIMS Hospital for medical treatment, where he is currently receiving care.
