Upon searching the vehicle, the officers discovered the MD hidden inside.

The police seized five mobile phones and the car, worth Rs 66.21 lakh. The main smuggler, Ajay Sisodia, a resident of Chaumahla, Rajasthan, is absconding.

The MD was smuggled from Rajasthan and passed through Madhya Pradesh before reaching Nagpur. This operation comes after a similar drug haul earlier, when MD worth Rs 90 lakh was seized, also smuggled from Madhya Pradesh. Police have noted an increasing trend in the smuggling of MD from Rajasthan.

Chintalwar, who was once involved in liquor smuggling, now leads an MD trafficking operation.
