Summer Heat Returns: Nagpur’s Temperature 3.4°C Above Normal

Nagpur, India: Temperatures in Vidarbha have started rising again after a brief drop. On Thursday, Bramhapuri recorded the highest temperature in the region at 42.2 degrees Celsius, followed by Nagpur at 41.9 degrees Celsius, making it the second hottest in Vidarbha.

In Nagpur, cloudy weather caused a slight dip of 2-3 degrees Celsius in both maximum and minimum temperatures. However, the summer heat has returned, with Thursday’s maximum temperature recorded 3.4 degrees Celsius above normal.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the maximum temperature may drop again by 2-3 degrees Celsius over the next three days due to another spell of cloudy weather. The Weather Department has also forecast a possibility of rainfall in some isolated areas of Vidarbha over the next two days.

Other parts of Vidarbha also recorded high temperatures on Thursday, with Akola at 41.7 degrees Celsius, Amravati at 41.0 degrees Celsius, Chandrapur at 41.6 degrees Celsius, and Wardha at 41.5 degrees Celsius.
