Team India Prepares for Test Series with Headshot Session in Dominica
Ahead of the upcoming two-match Test series against West Indies, Team India underwent a headshot session, and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared pictures from the session on its social media platforms. India will commence its ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 campaign with a two-Test series against West Indies, with the first Test scheduled to begin on Wednesday in Dominica.
The BCCI took to Twitter to share glimpses from the photoshoot for the Test series, stating, "Lights Camera Action! A sneak peek of #TeamIndia's headshots session as they get ready for some gripping red-ball cricket." The video posted by the BCCI features players, including captain Rohit Sharma, star batsman Virat Kohli, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and more, posing for headshots while donning the new Adidas kit.
In the updated kit, the collar trim is a lighter blue than the shirt from two years ago, and the team name color on the front matches underneath. Following tradition, the players' Test cap numbers are presented beneath the India logo.
The Test squad for India against West Indies includes Rohit Sharma (Captain), Shubman Gill, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Virat Kohli, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ajinkya Rahane (Vice-Captain), KS Bharat (Wicket-Keeper), Ishan Kishan (Wicket-Keeper), Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Axar Patel, Mohammed Siraj, Mukesh Kumar, Jaydev Unadkat, and Navdeep Saini.
