Teaser of 'Maharashtra Shahir' was Unveiled by Raj Thackeray
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) leader, Raj Thackeray, revealed the teaser for the highly anticipated Marathi film, "Maharashtra Shahir", which is based on the life of the renowned folk artist Krishnarao Ganpatrao Sable, also known as Shahir Sable. The teaser was released in Mumbai on the occasion of Shahir Sable's 8th death anniversary. The teaser promises a musical extravaganza, showcasing the multi-genre songs that Shahir performed during his illustrious career. The songs have been beautifully composed by the leading music composer duo, Ajay-Atul.
Shrimati Radhabai Krishnarao Sable, wife of Shahir Sable, director Kedar Shinde, actors Ankush Chaudhari and Sana Kedar Shinde, producers Sanjay Chhabria and Bela Kedar Shinde, music composers Ajay-Atul, and screenplay and dialogue writer Pratima Kulkarni graced the occasion of the film Maharashtra Shahir, which is a biopic on the life of Shahir Sable, produced by Everest Entertainment and Kedar Shinde Productions.
The film is considered to be one of the most expensive films made in Marathi. Raj Thackeray, who was present at the occasion, spoke about the significance of Shahir's contribution to the Samyukta Maharashtra movement and his connection with him.
The film features some of the legendary personalities who had close contact with Shahir, and the teaser shows Ankush Chaudhari playing the lead role, picturised on Shahir's hit songs. The film is set to release on April 28, 2023.
