Teen Dies After Falling from Tractor Carrying Illegal Sand in Parseoni

Parseoni, Nagpur, India: A 19-year-old man died after falling from a tractor carrying illegally mined sand in the Naya Kund area of Parseoni. The victim, Bobby Krishna Bawane, a resident of Chichbhuvan in Parseoni tehsil, was working as a tractor loader when the accident took place.
On Monday night, Bobby and other labourers went to the Pench riverbed to collect sand illegally. They loaded the sand onto tractors and transported it to different locations. On Tuesday morning, Bobby was travelling on one of the tractors towards the Mansar area via Patgowari road.
While crossing a section where a drain had been dug for cable work, the tractor suddenly tilted, causing Bobby to fall. He was crushed under the wheels of the trolley and died on the spot. The tractor driver, Vikas Shendre, immediately alerted the owner, and Bobby was taken to the rural hospital in Ramtek, where doctors declared him dead.
Initially, the accident was reported in Chinchbhuvan, but further investigation by Parseoni Police confirmed that it had occurred within Ramtek police limits. The police arrested the tractor driver and seized the vehicle (MH-40/BL-8077).
