'Thank You For Coming' movie turns out to be a massive hit despite other competitive Movies
On October 6, Bhumi Pednekar's film Thank You For Coming was made available worldwide. The movie has a strong start at the box office, says trade expert Taran Adarsh. Despite competition from Jawan, Fukrey 3, and Dono, the Karan Boolani-directed film Thank You For Coming has been able to "attract its share of audience at urban centres." The movie, which was given an A, chose to only have a few showings. Thank You For Coming brought in more than 1.06 crore on day 1 (Friday). Despite there being many films to pick from, Taran Adarsh remarked in an Instagram post that "#ThankYouForComing attracts its share of audience at metropolitan centers... Considering the clever rollout approach, a good beginning.
Shehnaaz Gill from Bigg Boss 13 and the social media influencers Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh, and Shibani Bedi are also featured in the film Thank You for Coming in addition to Bhumi Pednekar. Additionally featured in the movie are Pradhuman Singh Mall, Natasha Rastogi, Gautmik, Sushant Divgikar, Saloni Daini, Dolly Ahluwalia, Karan Kundra, and Anil Kapoor.
Authors Radhika Anand and comedian Prashasti Singh collaborated on the song "Thank You For Coming." Anil Kapoor Films, Communication Network, and Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures collaborated on the coming-of-age chick movie.
The movie fails to get rid of its flabby frivolity and forces the audience to slog through a ton of verbiage that frequently devolves into blabber. Thank You for Coming makes the same message repeatedly until it has nothing more to say—in a laborious, cliched, and tedious manner. On September 15, the 48th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) hosted the world premiere of Thank You For Coming. The movie received a resoundingly positive reception at TIFF.
