The Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) is set to hold its first Convocation Ceremony on 11th February, with the Chief Justice of India (CJI), D Y Chandrachud, gracing the event as the keynote speaker. The ceremony will take place at the MNLU campus and is scheduled to commence at 12 noon.
Justice Bhushan R Gavai, Judge of the Supreme Court of India and Chancellor of the university, will preside over the event. The Acting Chief Justice of the High Court of Bombay, Justice Sanjay V Gangapurwala, and Pro Chancellor of the university, will also be in attendance.
The Vice-Chancellor of MNLU, Prof Dr Vijender Kumar, and the Registrar, Dr Ashish J Dixit, have requested all invitees to be seated by 11.30 am. The ceremony will begin with the distribution of ceremonial gowns and an academic procession, followed by the welcome address and annual report presentation by Prof Dr Vijender Kumar.
After Justice B R Gavai's address, the graduates will be awarded their degrees and Gold Medals will be presented to the deserving students. This historic event marks a significant milestone in the university's journey and promises to be a memorable and proud moment for all involved.
