The Ganesh Tekdi flyover to be demolished and made into a six-lane motorway

Within a week, the Ganesh Tekdi overpass opposite the Nagpur railway station will start to be demolished to make room for a six-lane motorway. The action was taken after legal disputes brought by store owners beneath the flyover were resolved.
The station's surrounding area is now congested, and the demolition intends to address these issues as well as the narrowed road's problems and the increased passenger traffic brought on by the city's growth. Citizens will feel relieved as the area beneath the flyover, which is notorious for criminal activity and filth, will be cleaned up.
To meet the expanding needs of visitors, a parking structure and a shopping centre with 200 stores will also be constructed at the railway station. The demolition and following construction initiatives represent a step in the right direction for strengthening infrastructure and comfort for commuters and inhabitants of Nagpur.
